COUNTDOWN

I was talking with one of our grandsons yesterday and he had been asking his mom how long until Nana and Papa would be coming; as of Sunday it was 5 days.  His 3 and a half year old comment was, "that is too many!"  That put a smile on these grandparent's faces, lemme tell ya!

We are packing and scratching our heads as we go from one room to another asking ourselves how in the world we are going to be able to pack up all of this stuff in our luggage and to store!  We keep reminding ourselves also that there is quite a bit that is left that is going to Bethany and Joseph for their family's use.  I just need to make a bigger dent in this stuff (I wanna say JUNK, but I'm refraining from using that word!) today so that I can see the light that is barely visible at the end of this tunnel!

Our plan is to pull out of here (Athens, GA) as early as possible on Friday afternoon.  Vaughn works until noon, then he will get the U-Haul and then we will load and take off (as long as I have everything cleaned by then!!).

We will be at Bethany and Joseph's from Friday until we leave Wednesday morning for La Paz via Miami from Birmingham.  I'll bet we "stick out" (Even more than we normally do!) in Miami with our heavy coats and wearing cold weather clothing!  Oh well, I'd rather look silly in Florida than freeze at 6 am in Bolivia!

OH!  One more note, in case you missed our previous updates - everything we had hoped to sell SOLD.  The last items were picked up yesterday!  We're very thankful for that; less to have to store
in Alabama.

Please continue to be praying for us; the Miami Consulate should have received our paperwork yesterday first thing.  Also, I have submitted paperwork with our new health insurance for my prescriptions - hoping to receive those in the mail before we leave Alabama, also.

MUCH LOVE!  Have a great day!

P.S.  If you wouldn't mind, would you PLEASE take a second and make a comment about the post; even if it is to just say "so and so was here," so that we can try to gauge who is reading the post.  Thanks again!
